Rutland Training 27-28th May

UPDATE – due to a lack of uptake we are not going to be running any formal training. Tim may be at the club over the weekend if anyone shows up ask at reception if he is around. Anyone who does show up will be welcome to sail as visitors to the club and / or in the open event.

We will look to organise something on another occasion should we have people looking for training.

Rutland training

This is a flexible training event that can be adapted to suit what you need. This could be help rigging, tacking, gybing, going fast or simply staying upright! On day 2 there will be the opportunity to do a little racing depending on what people want.

Training on Saturday will be followed by two days of racing in the Spring Regatta on Sunday and Monday. Further training activity is possible on the Sunday for those looking for more tuition.

Members of the regular circuit will be around if you want go in a 4K and have not yet had a chance.

Please let us know if you are planning to attend and any specific requests asap so we can include them in the weekend.

Cost of the weekend including launching fees for you boat are:

Sat – Training only – £21

Sat, Sun, Mon – Training and Racing £36

There are some boats available for the training for a small fee. Please let us know if you would like to use one and we can get you in touch with the relevant people.
